Film #205: LITTLE DEATHS
2.5 out of 5 stars
This sexually themed anthology by Sean Hogan (SUMMER’S MOON), Andrew Parkinson (DEAD CREATURES), and Simon Rumley (RED WHITE & BLUE) is a mixed affair. The first two stories are pretty pedestrian (and some might say juvenile) in their subject matter. However, Rumley’s segment (BITCH) is a sad and ultimately darkly funny look at the dominant/submissive dynamic that gives this film the 2.5 stars I gave it. His segment alone makes up for the other two and is quite memorable. So, yeah, a mixed bag, but Rumley makes the trip all worthwhile.
